The Generating Income for Tomorrow (G.I.F.T.) Grant is designed to accelerate the growth of African American-owned businesses in Kansas City. It provides both capital and coaching to small businesses that demonstrate the potential for job creation and community impact. Grants for eligible businesses in the amount of $10,000 are available multiple times per year. There’s also an annual $100,000 grant awarded each year in July. Businesses must be at least 51 percent Black-owned and must be geographically located within the Kansas City, MO, city limits.

Accepting applications year-round, smART Ventures is flexible, inclusive and simple. It provides support ranging from $500 to $1,500, proving that small investments can have big impacts.

The Sunny Day fund supports extraordinary economic development opportunities that create and retain employment as well as create significant capital investments. Projects must generate significant jobs in areas of high unemployment; they are evaluated on a competitive basis and must be consistent with the state's strategic economic development plan.
WorkInvestNH
New Hampshire Employment Security
WorkInvestNH is a job training grant available to businesses in or willing to relocate to New Hampshire that provide comprehensive job training for their workers. Eligible companies can receive matching funds (up to $70,000) to cover on-site training, basic skills training, technical skills training, quality improvements and safety training, management and supervision training, and English as a second language training.
Intern Nebraska
Nebraska Dept. of Economic Development
Intern Nebraska gives grants to businesses that hire eligible student interns. Eligible businesses can get 50% of their internship expenses reimbursed, up to $7,500 per internship. To qualify, businesses need to be located in Nebraska, employ a student intern in a technical position, and pay at least the state minimum hourly wage. Businesses with fewer than 150 full-time employees are eligible for reimbursements on wages, tuition, internship housing, transportation expenses, and recruitment or admin costs. Businesses with more than 150 employees are eligible for all of the above except the wages paid to interns.
