About the Grant
The Registered Apprenticeship Incentive is designed to offset the extraordinary costs of utilizing a Registered Apprenticeship training program. Applications are reviewed quarterly by the WDC Grant Review Committee.
Funds for this grant are distributed after apprentice completes 500 hours of on-the-job training (175 hours for Youth Apprenticeship)

The purpose of the UPSKILL: NJ Incumbent Worker Training Grant program is to provide New Jersey-based employers up to 50% cost reimbursement assistance to train incumbent frontline employees to meet current and future occupational skill requirements. Grant funds are not intended for company-required annual training or new-employee orientation training.
WI SBIR/STTR Assistance Micro-grant
WI Center for Technology Commercialization
SBIR Assistance micro-grants are aimed at technology and research-based Wisconsin businesses, who intend to apply for SBIR/STTR federal funds. The business‘ SAM registration and SBIR submission must have a WI address. The grants cover reimbursement of costs up to $5000.00, incurred by a business in hiring an independent, approved third-party to assist in the development of federal Phase 1 SBIR/STTR research and development proposal.
Englewood Business Initiation Grant
City of Englewood
The Business Initiation Grant provides qualifying, new business startups with a "leg up" at their most critical time. The grant offers up to $5,000 for startup costs to qualified applicants. The entrepreneur is required to participate in a business planning workshop through one of Englewood's economic partners. The business owner must have a fully developed business plan which will be reviewed by the experts at the Aurora-South Small Business Development Center. Grant funding may be used for any valid purpose and a physical storefront or business presence in a commercial or industrial district is required. Capital improvements are permanent investments in the building or on the property, which are generally associated with a building permit. Businesses opened in Englewood within the last 12 months are eligible to apply. Grant funding is limited, and not all businesses that apply may be funded.
SCRA Startup Grant
South Carolina Research Authority
The South Carolina Research Authority (SCRA) Member Companies may apply for a variety of non-dilutive grants, each with its own eligibility and review criteria. The objective of the Startup Grant is to provide early-stage funding to startups to support one or more critical milestones towards commercialization and to advance the company’s pursuit of follow-on funding. Startup Grants provide funding up to $25,000.
Indiana SBIR/STTR Match
Indiana Economic Development Corporation
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation provides a state grant match to Indiana companies that have received a Phase I or II award through a federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant program. The maximum award amount is $50,000 for Phase I and $75,000 for Phase II.
