Mecklenburg County Business Attraction Grant

The MDC is offering a $500 Enhance MHT Grant to Manchester, NH businesses and landlords for improvements to streetscape, outdoor seating, restaurant barriers, façade improvement, window display, signage, or other related beautification efforts.

The North Tampa Bay Chamber is proud to partner with the Glazer Family—owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—to deliver critical relief funding to small businesses across Tampa Bay and West Central Florida. In response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the Glazer Family committed $2 million in recovery funding, including $1 million dedicated specifically to small businesses. Through multiple funding rounds, hundreds of local businesses have already received support to help them rebuild, recover, and move forward. This program is administered in partnership with regional chambers, including the North Tampa Bay Chamber and seven other Tampa Bay–area chambers.

The Chicago Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF) provides small business and cultural projects located along commercial corridors on Chicago's West, Southwest, and South Sides with capital development grants of up to $250,000 to fund permanent capital improvements. Administered by the City of Chicago's Department of Planning and Development (DPD), the program reimburses up to 75 percent of eligible project expenses. The fund is uniquely resourced through fees paid by downtown construction projects via the DPD's Neighborhood Opportunity Bonus program, effectively channeling downtown development activity into direct reinvestment in historically under-invested neighborhoods. Applicants may also qualify for additional funding for Technical Assistance to support project design and delivery. Eligible project types include commercial projects (such as office and retail uses), cultural projects (museums, theaters, and performance venues), nonprofit projects with an on-site commercial component, and commercial components of industrial uses. Eligible expenses include new construction, storefront buildouts, facade repair and window or door replacement, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work, roof repairs, acquisition costs (as part of a larger construction or renovation project), and soft costs such as design and technical assistance. NOF does not award grants for the construction or rehabilitation of residential uses, manufacturing uses, industrial uses, or places of worship that do not identify commercial as the primary use of a project. To qualify, projects must be located on an eligible or priority corridor within Chicago's West, Southwest, or South Side commercial areas. Applicants can confirm whether their property qualifies by contacting the NOF program directly. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the City of Chicago's Submittable online portal and are evaluated quarterly. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend a grant information session before submitting materials to better understand eligibility, application requirements, and the review process. Grants exceeding $250,000 are available through DPD's separate Community Development Grant (CDG) program, which offers Medium ($300,001 to $5,000,000) and Large ($5,000,000 and above) grant tiers for more significant commercial, cultural, and mixed-use development projects.

​The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection administers a Dairy Processor Grant program whose goal is to foster innovation, improve profitability and sustain the long-term viability of Wisconsin’s dairy processing facilities. Eligible applicants must operate a licensed dairy processing plant in Wisconsin engaged in pasteurizing, processing or manufacturing m​ilk or dairy products. Recipients are chosen through a competitive process. A total grant up to $50,000 is available per dairy processor per year. The dairy processor is required to provide a match of at least 20% of the grant amount.​

The Alamo Small Business Grant Program is available to businesses located in the city of Alamo. It provides 50% reimbursement, up to $2,500, for projects such as storefront improvements, signage, repairs, renovations and equipment purchases. For a business to qualify for the Alamo Small Business Grant, it must have been in operation for a minimum of 24 consecutive months. Also, the business owner must have a yearly lease. In addition to completing an application, owners will need to describe their business, their project and the project budget. Tax returns for the past two years and documented leases from the business's landlord agreeing to the project are also required.
