ABOUT THE GRANT
The Nebraska Innovation Fund (NIF) Prototype Grant is a grant-matching program that provides up to $150,000 to support early-stage product development. Eligible businesses include Nebraska-based companies engaged in non-retail industries with fewer than 500 employees. Grant winners can use the funds for costs related to developing products, such as wages, prototype materials, and equipment.

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is offering a jobs program that refunds employers up to 10% of an employee’s net benefit rate for up to 10 years. Applicants in target industries must commit to creating 10 new direct jobs. New jobs are roles in qualifying industries that did not exist in the state in the prior six months. Employer compensation begins at 7% and increases to 10% once all 10 of the new roles are hired.
North Miami Economic Development Small Business Grant

The Economic Development Small Business Grant provides North Miami small businesses with reimbursement of up to $7,500 to fund expenses that help them grow and operate more effectively. Administered by the City of North Miami's Economic Development Department and funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the grant is open to both for-profit and nonprofit businesses with a physical commercial location within the city. Funds may be applied to a range of approved uses, including equipment and tools, training and certifications, supplies and inventory, marketing and branding, energy-efficient upgrades, commercial liability insurance, and professional services such as CPAs and attorneys. The program operates as a reimbursement: businesses must spend a minimum of 20% of the approved award upfront, and reimbursement is issued in a single payment once eligible receipts have been verified by the department. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis subject to available funding.
Santander’s Cultivate Small Business
Santander
Santander's Cultivate Small Business program helps early-stage entrepreneurs in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved businesses. Through this program, business owners participate in a 12-week virtual education curriculum that includes mentorship and networking. Business owners also receive up to $20,000 in capital grants. To qualify, you must have been in business for at least one year, have between one and 10 full-time employees and have generated between $25,000 and $1 million in revenue in the past year.
