About the Grant

Work Immersion is an internship support program available to Rhode Island employers. It is designed to boost the employment prospects of new and returning workers (i.e., eligible students and unemployed or underemployed adults) through meaningful paid work experiences. It provides a 50% or 75% reimbursement for wages paid to eligible participants. All Rhode Island employers who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the program guide may apply.

NIDCD Research Grants for Translating Basic Research into Clinical Practice

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is intended to provide an avenue for basic scientists, clinicians and clinical scientists to jointly initiate and conduct translational research projects which translate basic research findings into clinical tools for better human health. The scope of this FOA includes a range of activities to encourage translation of basic research findings which will impact the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of communication disorders. Connection to the clinical condition must be clearly established and the outcomes of the grant must have practical clinical impact.

SC Relocation Grant
South Carolina Research Authority

The Relocation Grant supports companies relocating to South Carolina by reimbursing them for moving costs. Businesses can get up to $50,000 to use on moving equipment, employee relocation costs, and upfitting facilities. To qualify for the grant, the business has to demonstrate strong technology job growth prospects in South Carolina and have a minimum of five employees located in the state after the relocation.

Overtown Small Business Grant
City of Miami

The Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency’s (SEOPW CRA) Small Business Grant Program is a targeted financial assistance initiative designed to support the growth and stability of small businesses operating within the designated redevelopment area. With a focus on economic revitalization, job creation, and neighborhood development, the program offers direct funding to eligible local businesses to help offset operational costs, invest in infrastructure, and foster long-term sustainability. ‍ Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and must be submitted by email or hand-delivered to the Overtown Business Resource Center located at 1490 NW 3rd Ave, Suite 106, Miami, FL 33136, or the SEOPW CRA Office located at 819 NW 2nd Ave, Third Floor, Miami, FL 33136, Tuesday–Thursday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Early Immune System Development and Ontogeny

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is tofurther elucidate the mechanisms of early immune development in utero, during the early post-natal period and during early childhood in neonates, infants, and children and adolescents with or without in-utero exposure to HIV or Anti-Retroviral Therapeutics (ART).This initiative aims to understand intricate mechanisms of immune cells at the maternal-fetal interface, T and B cell development and maturation in offspring, and local immune responses and the role of systemic immunity.

VCEDA Telehealth Fund
Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority

The VCEDA Telehealth Fund is a grant fund established to help address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region. For-profit and nonprofit entities and industrial or economic development authorities in the VCEDA region are eligible to apply for funds from the VCEDA Telehealth Fund. Available funding is based upon annual appropriation from the Virginia General Assembly. Grant funds provided by VCEDA under this program must be used for initiatives intended to address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region.
