About the Grant

The city of Sacramento is offering business consulting and matching grant funds for local companies in an effort to build the region’s economy. Participants receive executive-level market intelligence and growth strategy consulting culminating in eligibility for a matching reimbursement grant of up to $50,000 to support growth strategy implementation.

To qualify for the program, companies need to be a for-profit business in the city of Sacramento, employ five to 99 employees and generate $1 million to $50 million in annual revenue.

Athens Business Façade Grant
Athens Downtown Development Authority

The Athens Downtown Development Authority (ADDA) Janey Mae Cooley Memorial Façade Grant Program is intended to stimulate investment in the revitalization and preservation of building exteriors in Athens’ historic downtown area, the heart of the Athens Historic District and a source of pride for our community. Matching funds are made available for eligible improvements to business facades that are easily visible and in public rights-of-way, such as those that face a public street or a parking area. Improvements must preserve the individual character of each building with its unique features, historic appearance and significance, as well as make a contribution and impact to the appeal of the downtown area.

Cost Share for Federal Funding Opportunities Clean Hydrogen Program

Purpose: The purpose of this solicitation is to provide cost share funding for eligible projects (see Section II.C. of GFO-22-903) to applicants that apply for and receive an award under an eligible federal Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). Description: Before applying, applicants are encouraged to check Eligibility Requirements in Section II. of this solicitation. As new eligible cost share opportunities are released, the CEC will revise this document with corresponding information on how to apply for cost share for that funding opportunity. Information on currently eligible funding opportunities can be found in the Eligible Federal Funding Opportunities section of the Eligibility Requirements (Section II.A.). The CEC will provide cost share only to applicants that are applying for a FOA or follow-on funding from DOE as described above.

MCIV Fund Grants
MC Department of Labor

The Maryland Community Investment Venture (MCIV) Fund was created to accelerate the adoption of financial innovations that enhance access to capital and financial services for small business owners in low- to moderate-income (LMI) communities. The MCIV Fund provides grant dollars to fintech firms to pilot products and services in partnership with Maryland state-chartered financial institutions.

MD Economic Development Opportunities Program Fund (Sunny Day)

The Sunny Day fund supports extraordinary economic development opportunities that create and retain employment as well as create significant capital investments. Projects must generate significant jobs in areas of high unemployment; they are evaluated on a competitive basis and must be consistent with the state's strategic economic development plan.

Citizens Community Champion Award
Citizens Bank

Citizens Financial Group Inc. has opened submissions for its ninth annual Small Business Community Champion Award, giving small businesses the opportunity to win $10,000 each. Winners also receive a year of professional development and networking through the Luminary program, which provides business owners with coaching, peer connections and access to resources designed to help grow and strengthen their companies. The contest is open exclusively to Citizens Business Banking customers and applications are due by 5 p.m. on Feb. 10.
