The NORA Façade RENEW Plus Program provides commercial property owners and business tenants located along priority commercial corridors in New Orleans with matching reimbursement grants to fund high-quality exterior façade improvements that reduce visible blight and align properties with current design standards. Administered by the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the grant covers 85 percent of total eligible project costs, with the applicant responsible for the remaining 15 percent. Grant amounts scale with the size of the property: NORA funds up to $50,000 per 50 linear feet of eligible ground-floor commercial frontage, meaning larger properties can qualify for substantially higher reimbursements (for example, a property with 74 linear feet of frontage may qualify for up to $100,000 in reimbursable improvements). Eligible applicants include commercial property owners and business tenants with property owner consent, all of whom must be in good standing with the City of New Orleans and the Louisiana Secretary of State, have no outstanding taxes, liens, or municipal debts, and must not be debarred from receiving federal assistance. The program is geographically targeted to specific corridors in the Lower Ninth Ward (St. Claude Avenue from the Industrial Canal to the Parish Line) and New Orleans East (designated stretches of Bullard Avenue, Crowder Boulevard, Downman Road, Lake Forest Boulevard, and Read Boulevard). Funded improvements must be exterior façade work that follows HDLC Commercial Design Guidelines, and selected applicants are required to work with a NORA-designated architect to develop the project design, obtain two detailed construction estimates from licensed contractors, and provide proof of funds for the required match before construction begins. The grant is reimbursement-based, with NORA verifying completed work through inspection before disbursing approved costs. All projects carry a minimum five-year compliance period, during which funded improvements must be maintained in good condition and the project location must remain in active commercial use.

The primary goal of the PACE Grant Program is to promote economic development by encouraging proper exterior historic rehabilitation and preservation to both residential and commercial properties located within the City of Madison. This program provides eligible private-property owners with funds to aid in their rehabilitation or preservation projects.

The R4R program is designed specifically for small businesses with 500 or fewer employees. It guides businesses through a three-step process to enhance their preparedness and, if eligible, provides grants when a state emergency order or state disaster declaration is made in their county. Our team will closely monitor emergency orders and disaster declarations from U.S. states and territories. The Prudential Community Grants Program provides Newark, New Jersey small businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations with microgrants of up to $2,500 (for individuals and small business owners applying as individuals) or up to $5,000 (for 501(c)(3) organizations or those with a fiscal sponsor) to support projects that create vibrancy in Newark's neighborhoods. Administered in collaboration between Prudential Financial, a global financial services company headquartered in Newark, and the Community Foundation of New Jersey (CFNJ), the program recognizes that local changemakers and business owners often have the solutions to strengthen their neighborhoods but frequently lack access to the financial resources needed to bring those ideas to life. To qualify, applicants must create neighborhood-level impact in the city of Newark, be willing to share impact stories including photos or videos as a result of the funding, be able to identify how the funding will be utilized, and secure a Statement of Community Support from a community resident as part of the application. Small business owners are required to apply as individuals rather than as businesses (small businesses, including brick-and-mortar entities, remain eligible under the individual track). Each applicant is limited to one application per cycle. Previous Prudential Community Grants Program awardees are eligible to reapply, but other Prudential grantees are not eligible for this specific program.

This notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) will support research towards understanding and mitigating the deleterious effects of acute exposure to Ultra-Potent Synthetic (UPS) opioids (e.g., fentanyl, carfentanil, nitazenes) and their combinations (fentanyl and xylazine). This NOFO will also support research on the persistent and/or delayed pathophysiological effects after acute exposure to such agents.
