Wyoming SBIR Matching Grant

The updated MOVE grant program helps businesses that are signing their first commercial lease or expanding their existing lease by at least 500 square feet in office space in Montgomery County. All MOVE grant awards will be funded on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date of receipt of submitting all required documentation and subject to the availability of funding. This grant is restricted to businesses located in Montgomery County, Alabama.

The Allstate Main Street Grants Program awards $20,000 grants to 100 selected small business owners across the United States to invest in tools, growth strategies, and resources that strengthen their business operations. Presented by Allstate in partnership with Hello Alice, the program represents a $2 million annual commitment to supporting local businesses that power American Main Streets. Up to 250 entrepreneurs are first accepted into a 12-week virtual Boost Camp accelerator that focuses on marketing, finance, operations, and growth, providing weekly content, peer connections, and strategic planning tools to help business owners build stronger, more resilient operations. From that cohort, 100 participants are selected to receive the $20,000 grant. Eligible applicants must be the leading executive of a for-profit business registered and located in one of the fifty U.S. states, D.C., or Puerto Rico, be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska), have generated at least $25,000 in revenue in the prior year, have a demonstrated need for funding and business coaching, and be willing to participate in the Boost Camp program. Businesses that participated in a Hello Alice Boost Camp in the prior 12 months are not eligible. Acceptance into the Boost Camp does not guarantee grant funding.

The Mecklenburg County Business Investment Grant provides qualifying companies relocating to or expanding within Mecklenburg County, North Carolina with a partial refund of the new ad valorem property taxes generated by their project. Administered by the Mecklenburg County Office of Economic Development (OED) in collaboration with the City of Charlotte's Business Recruitment and Expansion team and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the program is designed to attract significant new investment and job creation to the county. To qualify, a company must commit to bringing at least 20 new jobs and a minimum of $3 million in capital investment to Mecklenburg County. Grant terms — including the percentage of taxes refunded (typically 50% to 90%) and the length of the reimbursement period (generally three to seven years, with existing local companies eligible for extended terms) — are determined based on the number of jobs created, the size of the capital investment, average annual wages, the project's geographic location within the county, and whether the company falls within one of the area's identified target industries. The grant is structured as a reimbursement, meaning the company first pays its full property tax bill and is then refunded a portion of the incremental taxes generated by the new investment.

The Tribal Tourism Small Business Grant provides up to $10,000 in funding, with no match required, to startup or expanding Native American-owned tourism businesses in Montana. Administered by the Montana Department of Commerce as part of its Indian Country Financial Assistance programs, the grant is available to enrolled citizens (aged 18 or older) of Montana's 12 federally recognized tribes, with approximately 24 awards distributed each fiscal year. Applicants apply under one of five business categories: Native American Made in Montana retail sales products; hosted accommodations or experiences such as vacation rentals or tours; licensed hunting and fishing outfitting or guiding; licensed food, beverage, or grocery businesses such as food trucks; or other operational businesses that supply or serve tribal tourism in Montana.

Internship Grants support Wyoming businesses in offering structured learning experiences, designed to improve work skills, knowledge, and abilities. Intern hours are capped at 480 over a six-month period, with businesses being reimbursed up to $18 per hour. Companies can host up to three internships per fiscal year.
