State of Maryland
Maryland companies that receive an ExportMD Award are eligible for up to $5,000 in reimbursement for expenses associated with an international marketing project. The program is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Virginia Venture Partners Grants
Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation
VIPC’s venture capital program, Virginia Venture Partners (VVP), supports entrepreneurs and founding teams building transformative companies in Virginia. VVP invests in technology, cybersecurity, life sciences, energy, and aerospace startups through grants, pre-seed, and seed-stage funding, providing the critical support needed to fuel company growth and success. The Launch Grant is a $50,000 grant opportunity for the next generation of transformative companies at the earliest stage of formation. Companies must meet the eligibility criteria outlined. A 1:1 non-dilutive capital or in-kind match is required.
Orlando Facade Program
City of Orlando
The purpose of the DTO Facade Program is to encourage building owners, businesses, and owners of certain residential properties to invest in properties by financially assisting with renovations to rehabilitate their buildings and residences. Commercial Buildings located within the "Focus Areas" shall be eligible for funding for facade improvements, roof repairs and/or roof replacements of up to $200,000 or 80% of the total facade improvements, whichever is less.
VCEDA Telehealth Fund
Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority
The VCEDA Telehealth Fund is a grant fund established to help address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region. For-profit and nonprofit entities and industrial or economic development authorities in the VCEDA region are eligible to apply for funds from the VCEDA Telehealth Fund. Available funding is based upon annual appropriation from the Virginia General Assembly. Grant funds provided by VCEDA under this program must be used for initiatives intended to address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region.
Downtown SF Vibrancy Loan & Grant Fund
City of San Francisco
A new $3.6 million loan and grant program will assist small business with filling vacant storefronts Downtown. These loans will provide capital to underserved markets for those who experience barriers to accessing traditional banking services. Loan amounts will between $25,000-$100,000 with a 4% interest rate for qualifying businesses. In addition, those who qualify for the loan will also receive a grant of $25,000 from the City to support their launch.
