About the Grant

The Dunn County Small Business Development Grant Program will offer eligible businesses up to $10,000 of funding to continue growing their operations and become more efficient.

The grant funding can be used to access technical assistance through organizations like Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council and the Center for Innovation and Development at the University of Wisconsin Stout, help startups cover the cost of commercial space, and to match funding granted through other Economic Development Loan Fund Programs like the Revolving Loan Fund or Regional Business Fund.

Saint Paul Cultural Star Program

The Cultural STAR Program provides grants and loans to Saint Paul cultural projects and organizations. Most projects are located in the Saint Paul Cultural District (bordered by I-94 to the north, the Lafayette Bridge to the east, the Mississippi River to the south, and Chestnut Road to the west). Cultural STAR grows Saint Paul's economy by strengthening the arts and cultural sector and supporting downtown as a vital cultural center.

Global NY Grant Program

The Global NY Fund provides grants and loans to help New York State’s small- and medium-sized businesses go global and create new jobs. The Global NY Fund Grant Program is open to New York State companies and not-for-profit economic development organizations seeking to create or expand direct exports. All export grants are awarded on a reimbursable basis. ESD is providing grants of up to $25,000 to help companies start exporting or increase their global exports. Grants of up to $100,000 are available to not-for-profit organizations that provide export assistance and trade education to New York State companies. The grant will reimburse up to 50% of total project costs for companies and up to 75% of total project costs for not-for-profit economic development organizations.

Jacksonville Façade Grant

In order to encourage economic development and maintain the traditional small town character of Jacksonville’s city square, the Jacksonville Commercial Development Authority (CDA) is announcing a Facade Improvement Grant Program for buildings within the Public Square Overlay District. Limited funding is available and an application process is required. The purpose of the Grant Program is to rehabilitate and/or restore commercial buildings to historically compatible exterior design and encourage new investment and commercial development in Jacksonville.

MN Promise Act Grant
MN Department of Employment & Economic Development

This program, through a series of statewide partner organizations, will award grants to eligible businesses in communities that have been adversely affected by structural racial discrimination, civil unrest, lack of access to capital, loss of population or an aging population, or lack of regional economic diversification. A total of $94.3 million will be awarded as grants in multiple rounds. Grant funds can be used for working capital to support payroll expenses, rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, equipment, and other similar expenses that occur in the regular course of business.

RI Agricultural Energy Program
RI Department of Environmental Management

As part of its continued efforts to grow Rhode Island's green economy, DEM has partnered with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources to administer the RI Agricultural Energy Grant Program that provides grant awards of up to $20,000 for eligible energy efficiency and renewable energy projects at RI Farms. This funding helps local farmers "green" their operations and benefit from the related energy and cost savings through energy efficiency projects and by transitioning to renewable power.
