About the Grant
The New Mexico Small Business Assistance (NMSBA) Program provides New Mexico small businesses facing technical challenges access to the unique expertise and capabilities of Los Alamos and Sandia national laboratories. At no cost to the business, small businesses can seek assistance from lab scientists and engineers to solve challenges and overcome barriers to company success.
Since 2000, the two national laboratories have provided $80.6 million in technical assistance to 3,267 businesses enabling 11,116 jobs to be created and retained across the state’s 33 counties.

Delaware Division of Small Business
The Delaware Site Readiness Fund promotes economic growth and stability by investing in the development or improvement of commercial and industrial sites to attract job-creating businesses. The Fund provides grants, loans or other economic assistance to qualified businesses or local governments that invest in constructing, renovating or improving infrastructure for sites that will attract new businesses or expand existing businesses within the State. Qualified applicants must demonstrate a public utility advantage to the citizens of Delaware.
NICHD Small Research Grant Program
National Institutes of Health
The NICHD Small Research Grant Program (R03Basic Experimental Studies with HumansRequired) supports clinical trials that fall within the NICHD mission and also meet the criteria for basic science experimental studies involving humans (BESH), referred to in NOT-OD-18-212 as prospective basic science studies involving human participants. These studies fall within the NIH definition of a clinical trial and also meet the definition of basic research. Types of studies that should submit under this NOFO include studies that prospectively assign human participants to conditions (i.e., experimentally manipulate independent variables) and that assess biomedical or behavioral outcomes in humans for the purpose of understanding the fundamental aspects of phenomena without specific application towards processes or products in mind.
Sales Tax Exclusion (STE) Program

Purpose: CAEATFA supports California's mission to provide financial incentives to cutting-edge companies by offering a sales and use tax exclusion to manufacturers purchasing equipment to promote alternative energy, advanced transportation and recycling, as well as advanced manufacturing. These manufacturers create tens of thousands of high-paying, permanent jobs that bolster the state's economy. Description: The California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) Sales and Use Tax Exclusion (STE) Program (the “Program”) excludes from sales and use taxes purchases of Qualified Property if its use is either to process Recycled feedstock or using Recycled feedstock in the production of another product or soil amendment; or that is used in an Advanced Manufacturing process; or that is used to manufacture Alternative Source products or Advanced Transportation Technologies. Eligible manufacturers planning to construct a new manufacturing facility or expand or upgrade a currently existing manufacturing facility may apply to CAEATFA for an STE award, and if approved, the purchases of Qualified Property for the project are not subject to state and local sales and use tax.
VCEDA Telehealth Fund
Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority
The VCEDA Telehealth Fund is a grant fund established to help address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region. For-profit and nonprofit entities and industrial or economic development authorities in the VCEDA region are eligible to apply for funds from the VCEDA Telehealth Fund. Available funding is based upon annual appropriation from the Virginia General Assembly. Grant funds provided by VCEDA under this program must be used for initiatives intended to address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region.
