About the Grant
IFS is a national award program hosted by Famous Amos and its community partner, the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC). Created to honor the legacy of Famous Amos founder Wally Amos, IFS aims to provide early-stage Black business owners with invaluable tools and resources that foster long-term success. Each year, IFS awards three business owners with $50,000 in capital, in addition to wrap-around services that include mentorship, networking, and educational resources.

MOVE Grant Program
Montgomery County
The updated MOVE grant program helps businesses that are signing their first commercial lease or expanding their existing lease by at least 500 square feet in office space in Montgomery County. All MOVE grant awards will be funded on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date of receipt of submitting all required documentation and subject to the availability of funding. This grant is restricted to businesses located in Montgomery County, Alabama.
Cobb County Commercial Facade Improvement Grant
Cobb County GA
The Facade Improvement Program provides eligible project funding from $3000 up to $34,500 for facade repair and restoration. A 5% match is required and can be satisfied via in-kind monetized amounts for grant application preparation, site plans including approval compilation, estimates, architectural rendering costs, as well as total project cost cash match. The goal of this program is to encourage building restoration, historic preservation, and improved economic vitality by improving building facades. Eligible buildings are commercial and mixed commercial/residential with facades visible from the street. New construction will not be considered for this program.
RI Work Immersion Grants
Rhode Island Commerce Corporation
Work Immersion is an internship support program available to Rhode Island employers. It is designed to boost the employment prospects of new and returning workers (i.e., eligible students and unemployed or underemployed adults) through meaningful paid work experiences. It provides a 50% or 75% reimbursement for wages paid to eligible participants. All Rhode Island employers who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the program guide may apply.
WI Venture Pitch Readiness Micro-Grant
WI Center for Technology Commercialization
The Venture Pitch assistance micro-grant can reimburse up to $5000, spent on hiring an independent, third party to assist in the creation of an investor pitch deck, assemble a researched list of at least 5 investors to contact that includes the investor profile, the investment criteria, their portfolio, news releases of companies they invested in and create an advanced and well thought out financial and P&L model with market size, costs, pricing, sales key assumptions. To be eligible for this grant, applicants must have received a Phase I or Phase II SBIR/STTR award.
