Idaho Industry Sector Grant

​The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection administers a Dairy Processor Grant program whose goal is to foster innovation, improve profitability and sustain the long-term viability of Wisconsin’s dairy processing facilities. Eligible applicants must operate a licensed dairy processing plant in Wisconsin engaged in pasteurizing, processing or manufacturing m​ilk or dairy products. Recipients are chosen through a competitive process. A total grant up to $50,000 is available per dairy processor per year. The dairy processor is required to provide a match of at least 20% of the grant amount.​

Wisconsin companies can be reimbursed for specific expenses associated with a short-term export development project that will help to grow their presence in an international market. This grant program is tiered to provide a base amount of support (up to $10,000 per application, limited to three total grants per company), with a higher level of support (up to $30,000 per application, limited to six total grants per company) available for companies that have completed ExporTech.

ACCELERATE is focused on solutions that have shown progress in improving access, equity, and integration of oral health or overall health, including for underserved populations. As part of ACCELERATE, companies may receive: -Up to $100,000 in non-dilutive funds, which must be matched directly or in-kind by an industry partner -Support to scope the project and drive toward outcomes -Data and analytics support, including claims analysis, outcomes design, ROI modeling, and more -Networking at closed-door and industry events with our ecosystem of partners -Follow-on support after successful pilots, such as further partnership or investment

Purpose: The Song-Brown Program funds institutions that train primary care doctors to provide health care in California’s medically underserved areas. Description: This grant opportunity will result in funding organizations to educate and train primary care (family medicine, internal medicine, OB/GYN, and pediatric) residents to work in underserved communities. All residency programs shall incorporate the following strategies into their programs: 1. Providing training sites in medically underserved multi-cultural communities, lower socioeconomic neighborhoods, or rural communities, and preparing primary care physicians for service in such neighborhoods and communities. 2. Establishing procedures to identify, recruit, and match primary care residents who possess characteristics which would suggest a predisposition to practice in areas of unmet need, and who express a commitment to serve in areas of unmet need. 3. Implementing counseling and placement programs to encourage training program graduates to enter practice in areas of unmet need. 4. Providing preceptorship experiences in an area of unmet need to enhance the potential of training program graduates to practice in such an area. The California Paid Family Leave Small Business Grant provides California small businesses with grants of up to $2,000 per employee to help offset the operational costs that arise when an employee takes leave through California's Paid Family Leave (PFL) program. Grant amounts are tiered by business size: businesses with 1 to 50 employees may receive up to $2,000 per employee utilizing PFL, and businesses with 51 to 100 employees may receive up to $1,000 per employee utilizing PFL. Funded by the State of California through the Employment Training Panel (ETP) and Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), the program is delivered through multiple community-based partner organizations that conduct outreach to California small businesses (including the CAMEO Network, which operates the current californiapfl.com application portal). Grant funds are paid directly to the employer and are intended to cover training or cross-training of existing staff to fill in for the employee on leave, hiring and training temporary or additional staff, and reasonably foreseeable recruitment, marketing, and related training costs. California's Paid Family Leave program itself allows workers to take paid leave to bond with a new child (through birth, adoption, or foster care) or to care for a seriously ill family member. To qualify, a business must have 1 to 100 employees and at least one employee who used California's Paid Family Leave program on or after the current program's qualifying start date (this date is updated with each funding round). The business must be registered to do business in California and be in active status with the California Secretary of State, and must have an active California Employer Account Number (CEAN) under which its employees are listed for payroll. Businesses that use a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) for payroll and file under the PEO's CEAN rather than their own are not eligible. As part of the application, the employer must provide the employee's EDD Customer Account Number (a 10-digit number provided directly to the employee by the EDD, distinct from a Social Security Number). Applicants may need to request this number from the employee who took leave.
