Old National Bank and the Indiana Fever have launched the second annual Small Business Assist Program to spotlight and support outstanding small businesses across Indiana. The program invites Indiana residents to nominate their business or a deserving small-business owner for a chance to be recognized and receive financial support. It celebrates local businesses making a positive impact in their communities while elevating their stories statewide. A $5,000 grand prize will be awarded to one selected business.

Virginia Beach Façade Improvement Grants
Virginia Beach

A matching grant program to support small, locally-owned, and operated businesses in the City of Virginia Beach. Façade improvement grants (FIG) are reimbursements for significant exterior improvements for small, locally owned, and operated businesses located in any commercial or industrial-zoned area within the City of Virginia Beach. Funding is not an entitlement and is available on a competitive, first-come, first-served basis until funds for the fiscal year are awarded. The program will match small business owners', or those who lease to small businesses, investments up to $10,000,for exterior building, site, and outdoor dining improvements. Grants are performance-based and will be authorized by VBDA after successful completion and evaluation of the improvements. Paid invoices and receipts must be submitted.

MI Business Development Program
MI Economic Development Corporation

The Michigan Business Development Program (MBDP) is available to eligible businesses that create qualified new jobs and/or make qualified new investment in Michigan. “Qualified new job” means a new, full-time job performed by an individual who is either: a resident of this state whose Michigan income taxes are withheld by an employer; or an employee leasing company or professional employer organization on behalf of the employer or an individual who is not a resident of Michigan and is employed by a business at a project location that is located in this state, provided that the business certifies in writing at the time of the MSF disbursement that not less than 75 percent of the employees of that business are residents of Michigan. In both cases, the qualified new job must be in excess of the number of jobs maintained by the qualified business prior to the expansion or location as determined by the MSF.

The State of Arkansas makes strategic investments in the state’s workforce through OSD training grants. These grants support the Arkansas workforce by assisting businesses to provide cutting edge, customized employee training. Annuity Payment Freedom: Small Business Marketing Grant

Driving organic traffic from search engines can be a meaningful way to support or grow your business because it can consistently deliver people interested in your products or services to your website…for free. We will help. This program aims to support Black-owned or minority-owned (BIPOC) businesses by providing free SEO evaluations and advice. There is currently no cap on the number of possible marketing grant recipients per month. Grantees will be selected on a rolling basis. There is no application deadline. This grant provides free marketing services only. There is no longer a cash component to this grant.

Comcast Innovation Fund Grants

The Comcast Innovation Fund was created to support technology and public policy research that contributes to the betterment of the Internet, and the continued evolution of connectivity products and services. The fund provides grants to technologists, researchers, and academics to support Internet- and connectivity-focused projects within the fund’s areas of interest, which are updated annually.
