Apply for up to $3,000 in grand funding per business, to:

Fill skill gaps in your current workforce.
Upskill staff to move into key leadership positions.
Cover the costs of industry-recognized certifications.

This partnership between Larimer County and the City of Fort Collins is designed specifically for small businesses (2-50 employees).

RI Work Immersion Grants
Rhode Island Commerce Corporation

Work Immersion is an internship support program available to Rhode Island employers. It is designed to boost the employment prospects of new and returning workers (i.e., eligible students and unemployed or underemployed adults) through meaningful paid work experiences. It provides a 50% or 75% reimbursement for wages paid to eligible participants. All Rhode Island employers who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the program guide may apply.

VT Business Plan Implementation Grants
VT Agency of Agriculture

Vermont’s Farm & Forest Viability Program gives grants to program participants who’ve completed business or transfer plans. The grants range from $1,000 to $8,000 and can be used for business infrastructure construction, equipment, machinery upgrades, and energy efficiency projects.

Orlando Retail Stimulus Program
City of Orlando

The intent of the DTO Retail Program is to activate spaces within the downtown Orlando Community Redevelopment Area and establish the area within Downtown Orlando as a retail destination, to attract locals and visitors to visit downtown Orlando as well as attract new retail and encourage expansion of existing retail by reimbursing costs associated with interior buildout and rent of a newly leased property.

Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE)
Cook County DES

The Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability’s (DES) free Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE) program helps businesses reduce their environmental impact while creating a healthier environment for their employees, customers and community by offering on-site assessments to reduce pollution. Once an assessment has been completed, eligible businesses will have the opportunity to apply for grant funding. This funding will go towards solutions that save money, reduce impact on the environment and modernize operations.

Muskegon Business Equity Initiative
Northern Initiatives

The Business Equity Initiative Fund assists women business owners, particularly low- to moderate-income people, with access to capital and funding support not available through traditional loans. We seek to develop and support entrepreneurship and expand the capacity of these businesses in Muskegon County and in alignment with the Community Foundation of Muskegon County’s strategic objective of fostering a dynamic local economy.
