About the Grant
The Missouri Department of Economic Development, funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Association, announces the Missouri State Trade & Export Promotion=Unlimited Opportunities (MO STEP=UP) program. The MO STEP=UP program offers small businesses grant opportunities to fund qualifying international activities that further the importance of exporting in the state. The aim of the STEP Program is to increase the number of small businesses that are exporting and increase the value of exports for those small businesses that are currently exporting.

NY Supplier Innovative Finance Program
Empire State Development
The Empire State Development's Supplier Innovative Finance Program offers up to $5,000 in unrestricted grants to help socially and economically disadvantaged businesses in New York grow and access capital. In addition to funding, businesses can access educational resources designed to help founders improve their funding readiness and connect them with funders in matchmaking sessions. To be eligible, companies must be headquartered in New York with annual revenues between $250,000 and $10 million and certified as minority, women, veteran, or LGBTQ+ owned.
Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE)
Cook County DES
The Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability’s (DES) free Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE) program helps businesses reduce their environmental impact while creating a healthier environment for their employees, customers and community by offering on-site assessments to reduce pollution. Once an assessment has been completed, eligible businesses will have the opportunity to apply for grant funding. This funding will go towards solutions that save money, reduce impact on the environment and modernize operations.
NIH Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats that Affect the Nervous System
National Institutes of Health
This announcement invites applications for basic research projects on chemical warfare agents, toxic industrial chemicals, and pesticides that have primary or secondary effects on the nervous system. Chemical threats are toxic compounds that could be used in a terrorist attack or accidentally released from industrial production, storage, or shipping. Projects supported by this NOFO are expected to generate data that elucidate mechanisms of toxicity of these agents, possible new manifestations of toxic exposures, and potential new targets for therapeutic development.
Wisconsin Fast Forward Grants
WI Deparment of Workforce Development
The objective of the Wisconsin Fast Forward (WFF) standard grant program is to award funds to businesses from all Wisconsin industry sectors that reimburse the costs of customized occupational training for unemployed, underemployed, and incumbent workers. The customized, business-driven training will qualify workers for full-time employment, higher level employment, or increased wages.
