About the Grant
The Technical Skills Training grant was first developed in 2020 in response to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program supported new and expanding accelerated skilled workforce training programs for displaced workers. The Technical Skills Training grant program aims to offset the cost for program providers and employers in their effort to support the development of highly trained skilled workers to meet the demands of our labor market.

Tampa CRA Grant
City of Tampa
Businesses in Tampa, Florida can apply for the CRA Commercial grant to improve their properties, including performing internal or external expansions and renovations. To qualify for one of these grants, your business must be located in a designated CRA area. To apply for one of these Florida business grants, you must schedule a pre-application meeting with CRA staff. You can request an appointment by calling the Tampa CRA or submitting an online request.
CT Manufacturing Voucher Program
Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology
The Manufacturing Innovation Fund Voucher Program (MVP) provides CT companies with access to capital to help them obtain new equipment and the expertise they need to become more efficient, productive, and competitive. Eligible companies can apply for a grant up to $100,000 to conduct a new project. First-time applicants are required to provide a cash match of 2:1 and repeat applicants 3:1. That means, First time applicants provide 67% of the total proposed project cost and repeat applicants provide 75% of the proposed project cost. The program is administered by the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology with funding provided through the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development's Manufacturing Innovation Fund.
WFN Fast Pitch Competition
Women Founders Network
In its 13th year, the Fast Pitch Competition from the Women Founders Network is open to U.S. businesses started by women. To be eligible, your business cannot have raised more than $750,000. Selected participants pitch their businesses in person and winners receive $25,000 grants.
