Secondary Analysis and Integration of Existing Data to Elucidate Cancer Risk and Related Outcomes
National Institutes of Health

Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) along with other participating Institutes encourages submission of applications proposing to conduct secondary data analysis and integration of existing datasets and database resources, with the ultimate aim to elucidate cancer risk and related outcomes (e.g., risk prediction or reduction, survival, or response to treatment, etc.). The goal of this initiative is to address key scientific questions relevant to cancer by supporting the analysis of existing clinical, environmental, surveillance, health services, vital statistics, behavioral, lifestyle, genomic, and molecular profiles data. Applicants are encouraged to leverage and perform innovative analyses of the existing data. Applications may include new research aims that are being addressed with existing data, new or advanced methods of analyses, or novel combinations and integration of datasets that allow the exploration of important scientific questions in cancer research.

seCTerRise $25,000 Grant
Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region

The Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region has a $25,000 grant program for small businesses in southeastern Connecticut that need help with professional business services and equipment purchases. Eligible businesses must have been in business for at least four years, have an annual revenue between $1.5 million and $5 million, have at least five full-time employees, and be in good standing with the CT Department of Revenue Services.

Indiana SBIR/STTR Match
Indiana Economic Development Corporation

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation provides a state grant match to Indiana companies that have received a Phase I or II award through a federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant program. The maximum award amount is $50,000 for Phase I and $75,000 for Phase II.

WI Business and Commercialization Micro-grant
WI Center for Technology Commercialization

The Business or Commercialization Planning assistance micro-grant can reimburse up to $5000, spent on hiring an approved, independent, third party to write a comprehensive business or commercialization plan for a Wisconsin business. Typically awardees are pursuing a Phase II SBIR/STTR grant in which a detailed commercialization plan is required. The program is limited to businesses in certain industries.
