Philadelphia Quality Jobs Grant
Philadelphia Quality Jobs Grant
Philadelphia Department of Commerce
ABOUT THE GRANT
The Quality Jobs Program (QJP) provides Philadelphia businesses with grants of up to $175,000 for creating new full-time jobs that pay living wages and include health insurance and paid time off for Philadelphia residents. Administered by the City of Philadelphia's Department of Commerce, the program is designed to invest in employers expanding their workforce with family-sustaining positions. First-time applicants can receive $7,000 per new qualifying job for up to 25 jobs after meeting performance requirements, while businesses re-applying after a successful prior award can receive $5,000 per new job, up to a $125,000 cap. To qualify, jobs must be located in Philadelphia, offered to Philadelphia residents, full-time and permanent (at least 30 hours per week or 1,500 hours per year), and pay at or above the Philadelphia Minimum Wage Standard. Eligible employers must have been operating for at least one year, be current on city business taxes, and provide paid sick leave and health insurance. Home-based businesses and nonprofits are not eligible. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and participating businesses must commit to meaningful workforce growth: at least five new full-time hires for companies with more than 25 employees, or a 20% workforce increase for smaller companies.

Philadelphia Department of Commerce
The Commercial Real Estate Acquisition Loan (CREAL) Program provides Philadelphia small business owners with a grant of up to $35,000 for closing costs alongside a mortgage loan of up to $350,000 to purchase commercial property in low- and moderate-income areas. Administered by the City of Philadelphia's Department of Commerce in partnership with the Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC), the program is designed to promote asset ownership and help business owners build generational wealth by transitioning from leasing to owning their commercial space. KY SBIR/STTR Matching Grant
Kentucky Innovation
KY Innovation offers comprehensive programs to help companies apply for, win and match federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants and contracts. The SBIR/STTR programs are known as America's Seed Fund for good reason. They provide a vital source of non-dilutive capital in the form of federal grants and contracts for promising technologies, while allowing innovators to maintain intellectual property and positioning them well to receive private follow on funding. KY Innovation can be a key partner in helping you compete. Innovators that receive SBIR or STTR awards can benefit from additional funding to bridge the gap between Phase I and Phase II, as well as to speed up the commercialization process. The Kentucky SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Award Program is a non-dilutive, reimbursable grant, awarded on a competitive basis. The grant will match up to $100,000 for a Phase I project, and up to $150,000 for a phase two project. Applicants must be recipients of a SBIR/STTR award, a for-profit company, and based in, or willing to re-locate to, Kentucky.
