ABOUT THE GRANT
Purpose:
RUST loans may be used to finance up to 100 percent of the costs necessary to upgrade, remove or replace project tanks, including corrective actions, to meet applicable local state, or federal standards, including, but not limited to, any design, construction, monitoring, operation, or maintenance requirements adopted pursuant to Health and Safety Code sections 25284.1, 25292.05, 25292.4, or 41954.

Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks (RUST) loans are available to assist small business underground storage tank (UST) owners and operators in financing up to 100 percent of the costs necessary to upgrade, remove, or replace project tanks, including corrective actions, to meet applicable local, state, or federal standards, including, but not limited to, any design, construction, monitoring, operation, or maintenance requirements adopted pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 25284.1, 25292.05, 25292.4, or 41954.

The Choose Iowa Grants exist to identify, evaluate and financially support programs and services that add value to agricultural products, enable new technologies and support alternative marketing strategies. These cost-share grants leverage additional private investment and were created to assist Iowa farmers, businesses and non-profits with their efforts to increase or diversify their agricultural product offerings, expand markets and shorten the supply chain. The grants work to expand access to Iowa-grown, Iowa-made, and Iowa-raised food, beverages, and other agricultural products. There are three main grant programs under this umbrella: -Value-Added Grant - Iincrease sales of Iowa agricultural products by increasing production capacity or expanding market access for value-added projects. Maximum awarded up to $25,000 per grant awardee. -Dairy Innovation Grant - Award financial assistance to eligible businesses engaged in projects to create or refurbish milk plants and other dairy processing units. -Butchery Innovation Grant - Financial support to purchase, rent, expand, or refurbish slaughter and refrigeration units for processing meat or poultry.

NOFA-VT’s Farmer Emergency Fund, established in 1997, supports organic and NOFA-VT member farmers who have been adversely affected by natural and unnatural disasters. The NOFA-VT Farmer Emergency Fund is available to assist farmers who are in financial need after having been adversely affected by natural and unnatural disasters. -$2,500 grants are available for commercial farmers who are NOFA-VT members. Applying farmers will need to be NOFA-VT members in good standing for at least one year before being eligible to apply for funds. -$5,000 grants are available to any farm that is VOF certified organic. Because we want to incentivize organic certification, and because of the commitment involved in getting certified, we will waive the one-year waiting period for certified organic farms.

The 2026 WeddingPro Grant Program is a $500,000 investment designed to support wedding small businesses through financial grants, advertising support, mentorship, and education. Each business will be elligible to receive grants between $10,000 and $50,000 as well as one year of free advertising on The Knot and WeddingWire. The program is open to US-based wedding professionals who operate a small business and earn a meaningful portion of their income from weddings.
