ABOUT THE GRANT
The Royal Credit Union Small Business Grant provides pre-launch, startup, and early-stage small businesses in Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley with a $3,000 grant to support meaningful investments in the business, from startup costs to equipment and technology upgrades. Administered by Royal Credit Union (RCU), a Wisconsin-based credit union headquartered in Eau Claire, the program is designed to empower entrepreneurs with the resources they need to succeed, help create local jobs, and support small business owners in strengthening the communities RCU serves. The grant is currently offered as a pilot initiative, with the goal of expanding to additional communities within RCU's credit union footprint in the future.
To qualify, applicants must be owned by Royal Credit Union members or individuals who qualify for membership, be pre-launch, in startup phase, or have been established within the last three years, and be located in one of six eligible Wisconsin counties: Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Trempealeau, or Taylor. Applicants are asked to provide information about their business, including financial needs, community impact, and future plans, and must submit a business plan and financial projections as part of the application. Applicants are also encouraged (but not required) to connect with the UW-Eau Claire Small Business Development Center or the Western Wisconsin Women's Business Center for support during the application process.

WV Entrepreneurship and Innovation Investment Fund

In order to foster job creation and economic development in West Virginia, and stimulate SBIR and STTR results across the State, the West Virginia Legislature initiated the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Investment (EII) Fund. This money is earmarked to provide a monetary award when a business successfully submits a federal SBIR or STTR proposal and receives a Phase I or Phase II award. The amount of the State matching funds awarded is dependent on the existing balance in the EII Fund at the time of application and is typically not a 100% match. There are two award periods during the year for submitting SBIR/STTR Phase I or II matching fund applications: January and July. No preference will be given to the order in which applications are received. Closed Phase I or II SBIR/STTR projects are not eligible for matching funds. In addition to these Phase I and Phase II award periods, businesses can also apply for a Phase 0 award upon submitting a Phase I SBIR or STTR proposal. These Phase 0 awards are distributed as a $2,500 grant and can be applied for during any month of the year.
Salem Riverfront Strategic Project Grant

This program gives grants to businesses in Salem’s Riverfront Downtown area to improve their building safety and security to address homelessness. Companies can get up to $30,000 to use on security fencing/gates, exterior building lighting or security systems, trash/recycling enclosures, landscaping, interior lighting for storefronts, and building entrance improvements/
CO Strategic Fund Job Growth Incentive
CO Office of Economic Development
The Strategic Fund Job Growth Incentive is for business expansion or relocation projects for which Colorado is in competition with at least one other state and the company has received a commitment of local government funding that matches any requested state government incentives. The incentive provides a cash payment over five years to companies that create and maintain new permanent jobs in Colorado. Your business may not start or announce the proposed project in Colorado until your business submits a final application to Global Business Development and the Colorado Economic Development Commission approves the application.
