ABOUT THE GRANT

RDC’s Micro-Grant Fund provides a small infusion of capital to help businesses diversify, sustain or grow revenue, leverage other investments, and put systems in place that lead to growth and create job opportunities. The RDC provides technical support and information on other funding opportunities to all applicants, regardless of whether or not funding is received.

Midland Small Business Grant
Midland Business Alliance

The Midland Business Alliance has launched a new grant program to help small businesses in Midland County. Eligible businesses can receive $2,000 to $10,000 which can be spent on technology transformation, business process optimization, and upgrades to financial and marketing systems. To qualify, businesses must be headquartered in Midland County, employ 25 or fewer employees, demonstrate a need for capacity-building assistance and commit to the required cost share.

Santander’s Cultivate Small Business
Santander

Santander's Cultivate Small Business program helps early-stage entrepreneurs in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved businesses. Through this program, business owners participate in a 12-week virtual education curriculum that includes mentorship and networking. Business owners also receive up to $20,000 in capital grants. To qualify, you must have been in business for at least one year, have between one and 10 full-time employees and have generated between $25,000 and $1 million in revenue in the past year.

DC Commercial Property Acquisition Fund
Washington DC

The DC Commercial Property Acquisition Fund (CPAF) provides down payment assistance grants of up to $300,000 (or 25% of the sale price, whichever is less) to DC-based businesses looking to acquire commercial property in the District. Funded by the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) in partnership with the Council of the District of Columbia and administered by City First Enterprises, the program is designed to help businesses maintain and expand their operations by transitioning into owned commercial space rather than continuing to lease. Recipients must agree to own and occupy the property for at least seven years, ensuring long-term investment in the District's commercial corridors. The fund represents a strategic $1.5 million investment to support business stability and physical growth across DC.

Planning for Product Development Strategy - HIV
National Institutes of Health

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to support the development of a comprehensive and well-defined product development strategy for next-generation treatments for HIV and HIV-associated comorbidities, coinfections and complication and preventive strategies for HIV, as well as facilitating the translation of research findings into drug products that enables submission of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the FDA.
