ABOUT THE GRANT
The Proof of Concept program provides up to $25,000 to conduct research that demonstrates the technical and economic feasibility of an innovation before it is commercialized. The program is open to those committed to commercializing an innovation in South Dakota, such as entrepreneurs, universities, existing South Dakota companies and other entities. Investment proceeds may be used to pay consultant contracts, material and supplies, salaries for employees in South Dakota, and necessary services for technical feasibility or marketing studies.

Rather than being tied to a specific program or expense, these grants allow entrepreneurs to invest in what their business needs most—whether it’s stabilizing operations, purchasing equipment, expanding marketing efforts or preparing for growth.
Newport News Façade Improvement Grant

The objective of the Façade Improvement Grant (FIG) program is to restore, sustain, and improve commercial properties located within the City of Newport News. The FIG program provides matching grant funds, up to a maximum of $20,000, to assist with eligible façade improvements on properties citywide that are used for commercial, industrial, office or mixed-use purposes.

Do you own a child care center business in Manchester that could use grant funds and business counseling to develop your business? With funding from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, REDC has available, on a limited basis, grants for child care businesses that are: -based in Manchester, NH, -for-profit, -and that need working capital, equipment, and supplies. The grant range is $5,000 to $10,000. Grant funding is limited and not guaranteed.
