ABOUT THE GRANT
The AT&T Small Business Contest awards a total of $70,000 in grant funding across five U.S. small business owners each year, with one grand prize winner receiving $50,000 and four runners-up receiving $5,000 each. Administered by AT&T as part of its She's Connected by AT&T brand campaign, the contest is now open to all eligible small business owners regardless of gender, and is designed to spotlight leaders making a real impact in their communities. Now in its 4th year, the contest has awarded grant funding to 11 small businesses across the United States to date.
Beyond the $50,000 cash grant, the grand prize winner receives a year of AT&T service with a new device, mentorship resources geared toward making a local impact, access to a community of small business owners, and the opportunity to share their small business story in a custom AT&T content piece alongside She's Connected by AT&T talent. Runners-up receive their $5,000 cash grant only.
To qualify, applicants must own a certified small business located in the United States or Puerto Rico, and must be the sole or majority owner. AT&T defines a small business as an organization with one to five locations and 99 or fewer full-time or part-time employees. Applicants must be at least the age of majority in their state at the time of entry. Nonprofit organizations that also run a for-profit business are eligible to apply if they meet AT&T's small business criteria. Previous applicants are encouraged to reapply, and each eligible business may submit only one contest entry per year.

Advanced Laboratories for Accelerating the Reach and Impact of Treatments for Youth and Adults with Mental Illness (ALACRITY) Research Centers will support the rapid development, testing, and refinement of novel and integrative approaches for (1) optimizing the effectiveness of therapeutic or preventive interventions for mental disorders within well-defined target populations; (2) organizing and delivering optimized mental health services within real world treatment settings; and (3) continuously improving the quality, impact, and durability of optimized interventions and service delivery within diverse care systems. The ALACRITY Centers program is intended to support research that maximizes synergies across various components of the mental health research ecosystem, including new discoveries in clinical research, transformative health care technologies, advances in information science, and new federal and state mechanisms for organizing mental health care.
StartUP Grant

Offered by Texas Woman's University's Center for Women Entrepreneurs, the StartHER grant awards $5,000 to 10 Texas-based businesses. Businesses must be at least 51% women-owned to be eligible. Applications for this year's cycle will run from Aug. 26, 2025 through Sept. 26, 2025.
Haysville Restaurant Grant
City of Haysville
The city of Haysville is offering a cash incentive to new businesses coming to the area. New restaurants can receive $20,000 to put toward the business within city limits. The $20,000 grants would be paid to the business over the first three years of operation, when small businesses tend to struggle the most.
Nebraska Innovation Fund Prototype Grants

The Nebraska Innovation Fund (NIF) Prototype Grant is a grant-matching program that provides up to $150,000 to support early-stage product development. Eligible businesses include Nebraska-based companies engaged in non-retail industries with fewer than 500 employees. Grant winners can use the funds for costs related to developing products, such as wages, prototype materials, and equipment.
Invest Atlanta Small Business Improvement Grant
Invest Atlanta
The Invest Atlanta Small Business Improvement Grant provides Atlanta small businesses and commercial property owners with grants of up to $50,000 to fund interior and exterior improvements to their commercial property. Administered by Invest Atlanta, the program is funded through Tax Allocation District (TAD) revenue and is geographically targeted to seven specific Atlanta TADs: Campbellton Road, Hollowell-ML King, Metropolitan Parkway, Perry Bolton, Eastside, Westside, and Stadium Neighborhoods. Funded improvements typically include building repairs, infrastructure upgrades, interior renovations, accessibility enhancements, signage, lighting, painting, and other capital improvements that strengthen long-term business sustainability. To qualify, the property or business must be located within one of the seven eligible TADs, the project must be less than 15,000 square feet, and a minimum of 25% of grant funds must be used for exterior improvements. Funding priority is given to locally owned businesses that support job creation, neighborhood revitalization, and equitable economic development. Applicants are encouraged to first contact Invest Atlanta to confirm property eligibility before being granted access to the formal application.
