Winners also receive a year of professional development and networking through the Luminary program, which provides business owners with coaching, peer connections and access to resources designed to help grow and strengthen their companies. The contest is open exclusively to Citizens Business Banking customers and applications are due by 5 p.m. on Feb. 10.
Midland Small Business Grant
Midland Business Alliance
The Midland Business Alliance has launched a new grant program to help small businesses in Midland County. Eligible businesses can receive $2,000 to $10,000 which can be spent on technology transformation, business process optimization, and upgrades to financial and marketing systems. To qualify, businesses must be headquartered in Midland County, employ 25 or fewer employees, demonstrate a need for capacity-building assistance and commit to the required cost share.
MI Going PRO Talent Fund

The Going PRO Talent Fund (Talent Fund) makes awards to Michigan employers to assist in training, developing and retaining current and newly hired employees. Training funded by the Talent Fund must be short-term and fill a demonstrated talent need experienced by the employer. Training must lead to a credential for a skill that is transferable and recognized by industry.
VT Water Quality Grants
VT Agency of Agriculture
Vermont’s Farm & Forest Viability Program gives one-to-one matching grants to eligible Vermont farmers who need capital to invest in infrastructure to improve their farms’ water quality. The maximum grant amount is $50,000; farmers can use the funds to purchase equipment and make renovations and improvements to their infrastructure.
