About the Grant
The Wilkes EDC Entrepreneur Grant Program offers funds to support Existing Business Expansions and those planning to Start a Business in Wilkes County, where businesses have the potential to win up $6,000! Applicants submit a simple business plan and a financial summary that outline how the grant funds will be used to grow or launch their business. Additionally, you’ll create a 3-minute pitch video explaining your request.
Grant recipients can receive up to $6,000 through the Entrepreneur Grant Program. Funds will be available for withdrawal within one year of the award date. To access the grant, recipients must provide receipts or documentation of purchased items or services approved by the program’s judging panel. Once reviewed and approved by Wilkes EDC, the funds will be released.

The Rural Employment Development Incentive grant is designed to promote job creation in rural Utah. A business entity can receive up to $250,000 per year, and up to $6,000 per job created. New roles can be online or in a satellite or hub office, but must be physically located in the same county as the business. Eligible sites are either rural towns or cities with populations under 10,000 in Webster, Davis, Utah, or Washington counties.
Athens, AL Opportunity Council Districts Program

The Opportunity Council Districts Program, an incentive-based initiative focused on encouraging growth in retail-stagnant areas within City Council Districts 3 and 5. The program will provide funding for property improvements to help businesses expand and attract new investment in Athenas, Alabama. Eligible small businesses can apply for incentive awards of up to $20,000 for one-time, permanent upgrades. The funding is split evenly, with $100,000 allocated to each district.
TVA Workforce+ Grant
Tennessee Valley Authority
Workforce+ is a Performance Grant option that allows TVA to make an investment in competitive economic development projects focused on building a highly skilled and qualified workforce. Award amounts are paid directly to the company and are contingent on companies meeting the minimum requirements of the Performance Grant Program. Funding amounts are based upon approval of the company’s talent pipeline development plan.
Cyberinfrastructure for Public Access and Open Science
U.S. National Science Foundation
This grant supports early-stage socio-technical partnerships focused on research data infrastructure ecosystems. The Cyberinfrastructure for Public Access and Open Science (CI PAOS) program within the Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure (OAC) aims to catalyze new and transformative socio-technical partnerships supporting research data infrastructure ecosystems across domains through early-stage collaborative activities between cyberinfrastructure researchers, scientists, research computing experts, data management experts, research labs, university libraries, and other communities of practice. The CI PAOS program supports the NSF Public Access Initiative by encouraging innovation across the CI ecosystem to address accessibility, discoverability, reliability, reproducibility, sustainability, and utility of data products in alignment with NSF and national goals for public access and open science. NSF accepts proposals pursuant to this Program Description year-round. From time to time, NSF may also issue Dear Colleague Letters to encourage proposals on special thematic interests and opportunities related to this program.

Each month, we award two (2) $1,000 grants to women, age 18 or over, in the US to invest in their Business or Idea. You can use it as a start up grant, marketing grant, operational grant or whatever you need to help you to the next level with your idea or business. One grant will be awarded to a For-Profit business or idea and one to a Non-Profit business or idea.
