Athens Business Marketing Grant

The Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention Grant helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses develop and commercialize advanced technologies that will be created or manufactured in Colorado. Projects can receive up to $250,000. This grant award maximum can be lifted for projects that impact more than one advanced industry. The market typically under-invests in early-stage technologies. The grant’s goal is to fill the gap left by the market. The grant is not meant to compete with existing funding.

The St. Petersburg MLK Communities in Action Mini-Grant Program provides St. Petersburg, Florida small businesses, nonprofits, and community-based organizations with grants of up to $2,500 each (with up to 20 grants totaling $50,000 distributed per cycle) to fund activities that foster community healing, wellness, and service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. Administered by the City of St. Petersburg, the program is an annual grant opportunity that supports community-led initiatives taking place during the MLK Day period each January, with funds disbursed in advance of the project period as long as the applicant submits an approved budget. Eligible projects must align with one of four focus areas: Arts and Culture Events, Community Support Services, Environmental Activities, or Health and Wellness Activities. Recent award recipients have carried out a wide range of initiatives within these focus areas, from community cleanups and rain garden workshops to free dental days, parenting wellness weekends, intergenerational writing projects, youth STEM mentorship events, and cultural storytelling programs. Projects are expected to promote unity, health, and volunteerism in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision of the “beloved community.” To qualify, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, faith-based organization, educational institution, community-based organization, civic group, or small business registered in Florida and located within St. Petersburg city limits.

The MassTech Intern Partnership (MTIP) provides stipends to Massachusetts-based digital technology companies to help fund summer internships for Massachusetts college and graduate students. Administered by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and supported by the Healey-Driscoll administration and the state Legislature, the program reimburses participating companies for up to 50% of an intern's hourly wage, capped at $8 per hour and a maximum of $3,200 per intern. Eligible companies may apply for up to two interns per program period, while companies operating in priority focus areas may apply for up to three. The program's goal is to strengthen the state's tech talent pipeline and support startups and growing tech companies across the Commonwealth.

The purpose of this program is to foster greater economic development activity in Texas by encouraging and enabling veteran woman-owned small businesses to undertake new and innovative projects. Five – $5,000 grants for a total of $25,000 are available for this round of funding.

Minority-owned beauty brands are eligible to apply for this accelerator program hosted by Ulta Beauty. In addition to the educational programming and workshops, selected businesses will receive $50,000 in grant funding.
