Purpose: The purpose of this solicitation is to provide cost share funding for eligible projects (see Section II.C. of GFO-22-903) to applicants that apply for and receive an award under an eligible federal Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). Description: Before applying, applicants are encouraged to check Eligibility Requirements in Section II. of this solicitation. As new eligible cost share opportunities are released, the CEC will revise this document with corresponding information on how to apply for cost share for that funding opportunity. Information on currently eligible funding opportunities can be found in the Eligible Federal Funding Opportunities section of the Eligibility Requirements (Section II.A.). The CEC will provide cost share only to applicants that are applying for a FOA or follow-on funding from DOE as described above.

The VCEDA Telehealth Fund is a grant fund established to help address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region. For-profit and nonprofit entities and industrial or economic development authorities in the VCEDA region are eligible to apply for funds from the VCEDA Telehealth Fund. Available funding is based upon annual appropriation from the Virginia General Assembly. Grant funds provided by VCEDA under this program must be used for initiatives intended to address telehealth and telemedicine needs in the VCEDA region.

The New Mexico Healthy Food Financing Fund (HFFF) provides grants of $50,000, $100,000, or $150,000 (with a smaller $20,000 grant plus technical assistance available to applicants not selected for a primary award) to food retailers, food processors, food hubs and distributors, cooperatives, farmers, ranchers, Tribal nations, and nonprofit organizations across New Mexico to strengthen the state's food and agricultural supply chain and expand food security for New Mexicans. Administered by the New Mexico Economic Development Department (EDD) through its Food, Hunger, and Agriculture Program, the fund awards competitive grants each fiscal year across five project categories: Food Retail (grocery stores, cooperatives, mobile grocery projects, farmers' markets), Processing and Value-Added Products (staple foods including meat, fruit, vegetables, dairy, and grain), Aggregation, Distribution, and Transportation (food hubs, cold and dry storage), New Mexico Grown Production (farmers, ranchers, cooperatives, nonprofit production, hydroponic and aquaponic operations), and Climate-Smart Pre-Production (regenerative soil inputs such as compost, biochar, or microbial inoculants, innovative water irrigation systems, and solar systems). Eligible applicants include political subdivisions of the state, Indian nations, Tribes, and pueblos, for-profit business enterprises (including corporations, LLCs, sole proprietorships, public benefit corporations, and social enterprises), cooperatively owned businesses, tax-exempt nonprofit corporations, and small farmers and ranchers with gross cash farm income under $250,000 (production applicants must be NM Grown Approved Suppliers or in the process of obtaining that certification). Priority is given to projects that increase food access for historically under-resourced communities, address workforce development through job creation and retention in the food and agricultural supply chain, strengthen and diversify in-state market channel access for small and mid-scale food and agricultural operations, advance food safe storage, distribution, and transportation in regional food supply chain networks, or support the implementation of regenerative agricultural practices. Eligible costs include predevelopment work (business plans, market analysis, site plans, architectural and engineering designs, feasibility studies), brick-and-mortar facility development (construction, renovations, property improvements), capital needs (equipment, supplies, furnishings, technology), and other costs such as marketing, websites, business process upgrades, and training or certifications, with research and development eligible only for climate-smart pre-production projects. Staffing and payroll costs, real estate transactions and land acquisitions, non-durable goods, charitable food projects such as food banks and food pantries, purely experiential or educational projects, restaurants primarily focused on selling prepared hot foods, and entities seeking to lend or regrant the award funds are not eligible.

The Idaho Workforce Development Council provides Industry Sector Grants to employers throughout the state who are looking to help fill the skills gap, retain jobs, and increase wages in the Idaho workforce. Industry Sector Grants support consortiums developing training solutions that equip participants with transferable, industry-recognized skills. Applicants must be represented by a lead entity authorized to conduct business in Idaho and in good standing as evidenced through the Idaho Secretary of State and/or State Board of Education. Applicants must also have at least 3 industry partners with similar training needs

The Famous Amos Ingredients for Success (IFS) Entrepreneurs Initiative is an annual national award program launched by Ferrero North America in 2020. IFS creates pathways for early-stage Black business owners to thrive by providing $150,000 in capital awards, mentorship, networking, and educational resources. Honoring Wally Amos’ legacy and the “Famously You” ethos, this initiative celebrates the qualities that make each business owner unique and fosters long-term success for their businesses. Black small business owners are invited to apply by submitting a short video pitch. Entries are judged by a panel of renowned Black entrepreneurs, and 10 finalists are selected to compete in the next round. Ultimately, three winners will each be awarded $50,000 and access to mentorship, educational resources, and networking opportunities.
