Miami-Dade Small Business Grant
Miami-Dade Small Business Grant
Miami-Dade County
ABOUT THE GRANT
The Miami-Dade County Small Business Grant Program provides funding to small for-profit businesses located within the county to help cover the cost of equipment, supplies, inventory, advertising and marketing, building liability insurance, security systems, and minor renovations. Administered by Miami-Dade County's Office of Management and Budget, the program is structured around the county's 13 commission districts, with each district running its own version of the grant. Core program eligibility is consistent countywide — applicants must operate a for-profit, non-chain business with a physical address in the relevant district, and home-based businesses are welcome to apply — but specific funding amounts, application windows, and additional eligibility criteria vary by district. Applicants should review the guidelines for their specific commission district to confirm program details.

NOTES
Note: This grant has individual programs organized by district. Different districts will accept applications at different times so we encourage you to save the application site if your district is not currently accepting applications. January is the most common time for applications to open but that is not a firm rule and several districts open their programs later in the year.
