ABOUT THE GRANT
The Pave HER Way Women's Grant Programs provide women across the United States with grants of up to $90,000 to remove barriers, support education and personal growth, and fund projects that create public benefit for women and girls. Administered by Pave HER Way, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles, the program funds women at any stage of their journey, whether they have been doing the work for years, are building something new, or need the financial runway to start. Awards include mentorship, cohort experiences, and access to the Pave HER Way network alongside the funding itself.
The program is offered through three distinct grant tracks. The Change Agent Prize awards up to $90,000 to recognize proven leaders (in any field and any role) who already have a demonstrated track record of doing work that helps other women. This prize is nomination-only, with awards limited to individuals nominated by someone from Pave HER Way's invited pool of nominators (direct applications are not accepted). The Disruptor Award provides up to $90,000 in sponsorship for a transformational project or idea with clear public benefit for women and girls, and is open to any woman with a qualifying project regardless of field or role. Mentorship and cohort experience are required for Disruptor Award recipients. The Financial Aid track provides up to $30,000 in need-based support for women facing financial barriers to taking the next step, whether that means funding their education or overcoming personal hardship. Mentorship, cohort experience, and network access are available but not required for Financial Aid recipients.
To be eligible for any of the three programs, applicants must identify as a woman, be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. resident or citizen, and not be a relative, officer, employee, or member of the Board of Directors of Pave HER Way. There are no additional eligibility restrictions related to business ownership, industry, or geographic location within the United States.

NOTES
Unlike most grants in this database, Pave HER Way is not a business-focused grant program. It is open to any woman meeting the eligibility criteria, regardless of business ownership. Uses of funds can include public benefit projects, education, and personal hardship. Women entrepreneurs may be eligible if their business or project idea qualifies as a "public benefit" for women and girls under the Disruptor Award track.

Kentucky Innovation
KY Innovation offers comprehensive programs to help companies apply for, win and match federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants and contracts. The SBIR/STTR programs are known as America's Seed Fund for good reason. They provide a vital source of non-dilutive capital in the form of federal grants and contracts for promising technologies, while allowing innovators to maintain intellectual property and positioning them well to receive private follow on funding. KY Innovation can be a key partner in helping you compete. Innovators that receive SBIR or STTR awards can benefit from additional funding to bridge the gap between Phase I and Phase II, as well as to speed up the commercialization process. The Kentucky SBIR/STTR Matching Funds Award Program is a non-dilutive, reimbursable grant, awarded on a competitive basis. The grant will match up to $100,000 for a Phase I project, and up to $150,000 for a phase two project. Applicants must be recipients of a SBIR/STTR award, a for-profit company, and based in, or willing to re-locate to, Kentucky.
