About the Grant

SBIR Assistance micro-grants are aimed at technology and research-based Wisconsin businesses, who intend to apply for SBIR/STTR federal funds. The business‘ SAM registration and SBIR submission must have a WI address. The grants cover reimbursement of costs up to $5000.00, incurred by a business in hiring an independent, approved third-party to assist in the development of federal Phase 1 SBIR/STTR research and development proposal.

The City of Oxford has created a new funding opportunity for businesses in Oxford that provides capital for up to $2,500 or 50% of costs for projects that improve sustainability and/or building facades.

Middlesex Business Operating Grants
Middlesex County

The Middlesex County Revitalization Commission offers grants to qualified small businesses in Middlesex County, Connecticut. The grants are designed to provide operating assistance for small businesses to continue and grow their operations. This is a five-year grant program. The MCRC Business Operating Grants Program will distribute $200,000 in grants annually from 2023 to 2027. Small businesses (up to 50 employees and under $8 million in revenue) that have been in business for at least two years in a Middlesex County town may be eligible to apply. Businesses may apply for up to $25,000 to help fund projects that spur business growth or mitigate a hardship.

East Trenton Small Business Improvement Program
East Trenton Collaborative

This program supports East Trenton business owners who want to start a new operation within the city. The Small Business Improvement Grant—which offers up to $6,000—is available to existing businesses with five or fewer employees. The Small Business Startup Grant—which offers up to $2,000—is available to prospective entrepreneurs who need capital to cover startup costs.

WorkInvestNH
New Hampshire Employment Security

WorkInvestNH is a job training grant available to businesses in or willing to relocate to New Hampshire that provide comprehensive job training for their workers. Eligible companies can receive matching funds (up to $70,000) to cover on-site training, basic skills training, technical skills training, quality improvements and safety training, management and supervision training, and English as a second language training.

DE Graduated Lab Space Incentive Program
Delaware Division of Small Business

The Graduated Lab Space Incentive Program supports Delaware companies that need more lab space to operate and innovate. Businesses can apply for a grant that covers up to one-third of the fit-out or building costs for a new lab space; the maximum grant amount is $70 per square foot for up to 50,000 square feet.
