About the Grant

SBIR Assistance micro-grants are aimed at technology and research-based Wisconsin businesses, who intend to apply for SBIR/STTR federal funds. The business‘ SAM registration and SBIR submission must have a WI address. The grants cover reimbursement of costs up to $5000.00, incurred by a business in hiring an independent, approved third-party to assist in the development of federal Phase 1 SBIR/STTR research and development proposal.

Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks Loan
CA State Water Resources Control Board

Purpose: RUST loans may be used to finance up to 100 percent of the costs necessary to upgrade, remove or replace project tanks, including corrective actions, to meet applicable local state, or federal standards, including, but not limited to, any design, construction, monitoring, operation, or maintenance requirements adopted pursuant to Health and Safety Code sections 25284.1, 25292.05, 25292.4, or 41954. Description: Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks (RUST) loans are available to assist small business underground storage tank (UST) owners and operators in financing up to 100 percent of the costs necessary to upgrade, remove, or replace project tanks, including corrective actions, to meet applicable local, state, or federal standards, including, but not limited to, any design, construction, monitoring, operation, or maintenance requirements adopted pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 25284.1, 25292.05, 25292.4, or 41954.

Oxford Building Façade Grant
City of Oxford

Ben Franklin Technology Partners Challenge Grant

Provides funds to businesses through the four Ben Franklin Technology Partners for access to capital, business expertise, technology commercialization services to advance the development of new technologies and for the generation, conservation, and transportation of alternative and clean energy.

East Trenton Small Business Improvement Program
East Trenton Collaborative

This program supports East Trenton business owners who want to start a new operation within the city. The Small Business Improvement Grant—which offers up to $6,000—is available to existing businesses with five or fewer employees. The Small Business Startup Grant—which offers up to $2,000—is available to prospective entrepreneurs who need capital to cover startup costs.

Cleveland Tech Delta Grant
City of Cleveland

The Tech Delta Program is designed to supply financial assistance to tech and medical companies relocating or expanding within the City of Cleveland. These companies experience much higher build-out costs or rental rates due to specific technological needs for their operations. The Department of Economic Development will offer grants on a square footage basis ($5/SF) up to $50,000. This grant would financially support upgrades, and in turn, make it financially feasible to expand operations or to lower rents. Therefore, companies with expenses associated with tech and lab buildout beyond standard “white-box” space are ideal candidates for the program.
