The Skills Enhancement Fund (SEF) provides assistance to businesses to support training and upgrading skills of employees required to support new capital investment. The grant may be provided to reimburse a portion (typically 50%) of eligible training costs over a period of two full calendar years from the commencement of the project. Grants from the Skills Enhancement Fund must lead to post-secondary credentials, a nationally-recognized industry credential, or specialized company training for both new hires and existing workers, and an increase in wages for existing employees.

Each year, we select 50 women entrepreneurs for a yearlong program designed to grow their businesses through workshops, coaching sessions, network-building, and financial resources. The program ends with a company presentation and in-person experience. In addition to educational resources and networking opportunities, the fellowship awards a $5,000 grant to each participant and access to 0%-interest Kiva loans.
Kansas Global Business Expansion Grant

K-GLOBE program assists Kansas companies in boosting their export business through exhibiting products at foreign trade shows and conducting export-related marketing activities. Eligible businesses may receive reimbursement for 50% of eligible direct expenses up $10,000 every fiscal year (July 1-June 30) regardless of previous program award history.

The Office of Nuclear Energy (NE) mission is to advance nuclear energy science and technology to meet U.S. energy, environmental, and economic needs. NE has identified the following goals to address challenges in the nuclear energy sector, help realize the potential of advanced technology, and leverage the unique role of the government in spurring innovation: - Enable continued operation of existing U.S. nuclear reactors - Enable deployment of advanced nuclear reactors - Develop advanced nuclear fuel cycles - Maintain U.S. leadership in nuclear energy technology NE strives to promote integrated and collaborative research conducted by national laboratory, university, industry, and international partners under the direction of NE’s programs, and to deploy innovative nuclear energy technologies to the market and to optimize the benefits of nuclear energy.
Jacksonville Business Beautification Grant

The City of Jacksonville is committed to strengthening its local economy and enhancing the community’s appeal for residents and visitors alike. Beautification of commercial properties is a proven took for achieving these goals, as well- maintained and visually appealing business districts can influence consumer behavior, attract tourism and contribute to a vibrant community atmosphere. In support of these efforts, in 2025, the City established the Rediscover Jacksonville Business Beautification Grant Program to assist local businesses with exterior improvement projects that promote economic growth and support tourism throughout Jacksonville. The purpose of this grant program is to provide financial assistance to Jacksonville, AR businesses for projects that enhance the exterior appearance and curb appeal of their establishments. These improvements are intended to strengthen Jacksonville’s commercial corridors, attract shoppers and visitors, and promote business retention and growth by encouraging increased foot traffic and customer engagement.
