Inspiring Spring Mountain: Corridor Improvement Grant

The Inspiring Spring Mountain: Corridor Improvement Grant Program is a signature initiative of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency (RDA) to empower property owners, tenants, and community partners in Las Vegas Chinatown to make visible, lasting improvements to the Spring Mountain Corridor. The program provides financial support for projects that: -Strengthen Chinatown’s role as a regional cultural destination -Improve safety, lighting, and mobility -Support small businesses and legacy operators. and -Advance the goals of the Inspiring Spring Mountain Redevelopment Plan by aligning physical improvements with community vision and cultural identity. Through a competitive application process, eligible applicants can receive up to $75,000 in matching grant funds to implement improvements that enhance facades, lighting, safety, circulation, and placemaking. A total of $750,000 has been allocated to this program.

The Texas Enterprise Fund awards “deal-closing” grants to companies considering a new project for which one Texas site is competing with other out-of-state sites. The fund serves as a performance-based financial incentive for those companies whose projects would contribute significant capital investment and new employment opportunities to the state’s economy. Eligible applicants include all companies planning a new project including a facility opening or expansion, with significant projected job creation and capital investment, where a single site in Texas is actively competing with at least one viable out-of-state option.

The Kansas Department of Commerce and Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship (KOA) has realized significant growth in high-wage and high-demand occupations, but there still remains a significant need to engage small businesses essential to the state economic success. This grant specifically targets small businesses with less than 10 full-time employees, and will provide $7,000 one-time grants to support the registration of New Apprentices in high-wage and high-demand occupations.
