About the Grant

The Inspiring Spring Mountain: Corridor Improvement Grant Program is a signature initiative of the Clark County Redevelopment Agency (RDA) to empower property owners, tenants, and community partners in Las Vegas Chinatown to make visible, lasting improvements to the Spring Mountain Corridor.

The program provides financial support for projects that:
-Strengthen Chinatown’s role as a regional cultural destination
-Improve safety, lighting, and mobility
-Support small businesses and legacy operators. and
-Advance the goals of the Inspiring Spring Mountain Redevelopment Plan by aligning physical improvements with community vision and cultural identity.

Through a competitive application process, eligible applicants can receive up to $75,000 in matching grant funds to implement improvements that enhance facades, lighting, safety, circulation, and placemaking. A total of $750,000 has been allocated to this program.

The Main Street Acquisition Support Grant product is a pilot product under the Main Street Recovery Fund that will offer a grant of up to $50,000 to reimburse an eligible NJ small business for closing costs related to a New Jersey commercial property that the business purchased to operate from.

WBDC Ignite Grant
CT Women's Business Development Council

The Women’s Business Development Council offers grants of up to $10,000 to qualified women-owned small businesses in Connecticut. Ignite is designed to help women-owned businesses grow! Grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded for clearly defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability. The grant funds cannot be used towards operating expenses (e.g. inventory, marketing expenses, salaries), real estate improvements (e.g. construction costs), reimbursement for past purchases or debt repayment. Applicants are required to have invested at least $2,500 into their business in the last 12 months, unless located in a distressed municipality.

Virginia Renewal Eneergy Fund Grants
Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority

VCEDA operates a Renewable Energy Fund to help attract new green jobs and investment to Southwest Virginia's e-Region and to help diversify its economy. Projects eligible for funding from the Renewable Energy Fund include commercial/industrial generation projects using renewable energy sources; manufacture of renewable energy products and components; and workforce development and training projects to prepare the region’s workforce for renewable energy jobs. Funding is available as low-interest loans and/or grants for real estate acquisition, building construction, equipment purchases, and other physical improvements adding value to real estate, including associated soft costs. Grants are available to assist with workforce development and training, including tuition reimbursement, internships, and training equipment.

CT Child Care Business Opportunity Fund
CT Women's Business Development Council

WBDC, in partnership with the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC), offers grants of up to $25,000 to qualified child care businesses in Connecticut through its Child Care Business Opportunity Fund. Designed to help licensed and aspiring child care businesses grow, the Opportunity Fund has grant programs targeting different stages of business, from start-ups to those ready to expand.

Academic-Industrial Partnerships for Translation of Technologies for Diagnosis and Treatment
National Institutes of Health

Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to stimulate efforts to translate scientific discoveries and engineering developments into methods or tools that address problems in basic research to understand disease, or in applied research to assess risk, detect, prevent, diagnose, treat, and/or manage disease. The rationale is to deliver new capabilities to meet evolving requirements for technologies and methods relevant to the advance of research and delivery of care in pre-clinical, clinical and non-clinical settings, domestic or foreign, for conditions and diseases within the missions of participating institutes.
