The City of Mountain View is accepting applications for the limited period Facade Improvement Grant program until funds are depleted. The Façade Improvement Grant helps you invest in your storefront to attract more customers, enhance our community's streetscapes, and grow your business. To help your business thrive, the City is offering matching grants of up to $17,500 for storefront improvements.

Note: This is a rolling application but funds are limited. So far the city of Mountain view has renewed the funding for this program several times since its inception in 2023. However, we recommend applying as quickly as possible as there is no guarantee that funding will continue to be renewed.

For the third year in a row, Fifteen Percent Pledge is partnering with Shop with Google to provide $250,000 in grant funding to unlock the next horizon of growth for three Black-owned businesses. The winner of the Achievement Award will also receive mentoring and pro-bono consulting services from industry leaders.

The Kansas Department of Commerce and Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship (KOA) has realized significant growth in high-wage and high-demand occupations, but there still remains a significant need to engage small businesses essential to the state economic success. This grant specifically targets small businesses with less than 10 full-time employees, and will provide $7,000 one-time grants to support the registration of New Apprentices in high-wage and high-demand occupations.
MN Automation Training Grant
MN Department of Employment & Economic Development
Grants of up to $35,000 are available to small businesses in the manufacturing or skilled production industry for the express purpose of training incumbent workers as quickly and effectively as possible on new automation technology. The program is available to existing Minnesota Businesses located outside of the seven county metropolitan area OR located in the cities of Cannon Falls, Hanover, Rockford, Northfield, and New Prague that are investing in new automation technology at the project location. Training is for existing, full-time jobs paying at least 120% of federal poverty guidelines for a family or four. For 2025, this is $38,580 per year.
