About the Grant
The Rock Solid Fund, administered by the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce, provides grants to Nantucket-based small businesses to ensure their contribution toward a strong island economy. Ideally, applicants will use funds to execute an innovative project to ensure the growth and economic stability of their own business while creating a positive role model for others in the entrepreneurial community.

WI Center for Technology Commercialization
The WEDC provides grant matching for businesses that have received a Phase I or Phase II federal SBIR grant. Businesses that have received a Phase I award are eligible for a 50% matching grant, up to $75,000. Businesses that have received a Phase II award are eligible for 100% matching per year for up to two years.
Leavenworth Small Business Grant Program
City of Leavenworth
New and existing commercial, retail, or industrial businesses in Leavenworth, KS may be reimbursed 50% of the costs for the development of their business. Owners may be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar matching grant up to $5,000 for single unit locations and up to $15,000 for multi-tenant locations. Grant monies are awarded to encourage building updates and/or renovations to new and existing businesses. These funds are not available for routine repairs and maintenance.
smART Ventures grant
City of Seattle
A grant program for artistic and cultural projects in the city of Seattle. As a small awards program, smART Ventures encourages innovation and widens cultural participation, particularly by individuals, organizations, and communities that may not qualify for other funding programs. Accepting applications year-round, smART Ventures is flexible, inclusive and simple. It provides support ranging from $500 to $1,500, proving that small investments can have big impacts.
Waynesboro Building Improvement Grant
City of Waynesboro
The Building Improvement Grant is an annual, competitive, reimbursable grant available for businesses in the downtown and East Main Street qualifying area to make improvements to the front of their buildings. Based on annual appropriation from City Council, the grant program is announced in July of each year with applications due in September. Applications are reviewed and scored with grantees announced in late September of each year. There are two categories of improvements: façade or landscaping, offering up to $5,000 in funding.
