About the Grant
Santander's Cultivate Small Business program helps early-stage entrepreneurs in the food industry, with a focus on historically underserved businesses. Through this program, business owners participate in a 12-week virtual education curriculum that includes mentorship and networking. Business owners also receive up to $20,000 in capital grants.
To qualify, you must have been in business for at least one year, have between one and 10 full-time employees and have generated between $25,000 and $1 million in revenue in the past year.

Beverage Container Redemption Innovation Grant Program
CA Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery
Purpose: The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) offers the Beverage Container Redemption Innovation Grant Program pursuant to Senate Bill (SB) 101 (Chapter 12, Skinner, Budget Act of 2023). The purpose of the grant is to provide funding for reverse vending machines for Dealers to meet requirements of Public Resources Code 14578 (a)(1), commonly referred to as Option 1. Description: Eligible applicants include: Dealers. A retail establishment in an unserved convenience zone which offers the sale of beverages in beverage containers to consumers that is required to redeem in-store (Option 1). These entities are not required to be certified as a recycling center. All Dealers must submit an affidavit to CalRecycle that states they choose to redeem in-store prior to the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) email. Dealers must be registered through the Dealer Registration and Management System (DReaMS) prior to submission of the application.
Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE)

The Cook County Department of Environment and Sustainability’s (DES) free Businesses Reducing Impact on the Environment (BRITE) program helps businesses reduce their environmental impact while creating a healthier environment for their employees, customers and community by offering on-site assessments to reduce pollution. Once an assessment has been completed, eligible businesses will have the opportunity to apply for grant funding. This funding will go towards solutions that save money, reduce impact on the environment and modernize operations.
Illinois Grocery Initiative - Equipment Upgrade Program

The Illinois Grocery Initiative Equipment Upgrades Program, authorized by Public Act 103-0561, will provide grants for new energy-efficient equipment upgrades for existing independently-owned for-profit grocery stores, cooperative grocery stores, or not-for-profit grocery stores.

Cohorts will receive six months of intentional consultations followed up with educational training service, continuous training and services, extend to support you with procedures that will help you process and maintain your business.
Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund

Disasters are unpredictable but critical support shouldn't be. The average small business loses $3,000 every day they remain closed due to a disaster. To help restaurants recover in times of critical need, DoorDash has partnered with Hello Alice to create the Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund. The fund supports restaurants impacted by natural disasters, severe weather events, or major infrastructure failures, and provides relief through $10,000 grants.
